Usha RaoUsha is a 15 year veteran in the technology industry. She spent a significant part of her career (about 8 years) in the Payment Industry, working at Verifone Inc. as manager for large scale implementations of Payment solutions for banks and financial institutions. Subsequently, she founded an internet B2B service portal with angel funding, focused on providing services to startups. For the past couple of years, Usha has stayed at home to raise her two children.
Navin Thukkaram
Navin Thukkaram is an Associate Director in the private equity group of Vulcan Capital, the investment firm of Paul Allen, Microsoft co-founder. Mr. Thukkaram focuses on the energy and financial services sectors and serves as Assistant Secretary of Vulcan Energy Corp. (formerly Plains Resources; NYSE: PLX) and is a Director of Vulcan Resources Florida. Prior to Vulcan, Mr. Thukkaram worked for JLL Partners in New York, where he was involved in a number of private equity investments, including AdvancePCS and IASIS Healthcare. Previously, Mr. Thukkaram worked in the mergers & acquisitions group of Lazard in New York. Mr. Thukkaram holds a BSE in operations research and financial engineering from Princeton University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
