To create a virtual organization of NRI’s and other professionals in the US, committed to contributing to the human development efforts in India:
- Working through India-based NGOs
- Providing business/professional skills pro-bono to transform them into organizations with greater reach and effectiveness
- Operating within the constraints of NRI's desire to create and maintain a 'Two Homes/Two Lifes' lifestyle in the US and India
Mission
The goal is to provide NRI's and other professionals in the US with FACILITATED OPPORTUNITIES to connect and engage meaningfully and productively. The mission is to create an organization that:
- Identify the specific operational improvement needs of NGOs in areas mentioned earlier
- Fashion these needs into specific executable projects
- Match the specific skills and capabilities of NRIs to specific NGOs, facilitate the connection between the two parties
- Create a workable mechanism to sustain the effort
