Serve in India
Recognizing the tremendous interest of Americans to contribute to India with their time and talent, AIF has created various channels by which American professionals can volunteer their time with Indian civil society organizations.
The Service Corps Fellowship enables young American professionals to spend ten months working with Indian NGOs.
The MediCorps Fellowship connects mid-career and senior healthcare professionals with recipient institutions in India to expand the overall medical responsiveness to the HIV/AIDS crisis.
The AIF Media Fellowship offers American journalists the opportunity to spend time in India researching socio-economic issues, and connects them with key sources.
In January 2007, AIF is piloting its newest service program, ENCorps, which will provide a platform for highly experienced or retired professionals to volunteer their time at Indian NGOs for short-duration assignments.
