Samaj Parivartan Samudaya (SPS), Karnataka (2002), ($ 61,700)
SPS works to protect the environment in Karnataka by advocacy and organizing people dependent upon natural resources, mainly forests, land and water, for their livelihoods. SPS has been implementing a five year livelihood project since 2002. The main objective of the program is to contribute significantly to the livelihoods of 3,841 families in 26 villages in two districts of Karnataka - Davanagere and Haveri.

Professional assistance for developmental action (PRADAN), Chattisgarh (2004), ($133,111) PRADAN is a voluntary organization registered under the societies registration act in Delhi. It currently works in selected villages in 26 districts across 7 states, through small teams based in the field. The focus of its work is to promote and strengthen livelihoods for the rural poor.

Navjyoti- Delhi Police Foundation was established in 1987 as a result of an inextricable link that existed between crime and drugs. What started as a small initiative for rehabilitation and training has grown into a large network of community development programs in three major resettlement areas of Delhi, namely Jahangirpuri, Holambikalan, and Bawana, a rural development program in Naya Gaon, Gurgaon and a Drug De-Addiction and Training Centre in Kerala.
